Dear Colleagues,
I’ve been invited to pilot a generous scholarship program for CNVC Certified Trainers (CT) to further their development in eco-depth psychology; the general approach encourages a cultivation of wholeness while facilitating self-healing by connecting with protectors and wounded parts while relating to nature as a guide. The scholarships reduce tuition up to 75% on a first-come first served basis until the funds run out. The personal development offerings are through the Animas Valley Institute (animas.org) based on the book “Wild Mind - Field Guide to the Human Psyche” by Bill Plotkin, Ph.D., which combines the latest in Western Jungian depth-psychology with nature-based practices.
As an NVC practitioner since 2002, I have personally benefited from the Animas Valley offerings, especially around triggers by my “subpersonalities” or “subs” (like IFS parts, fragments) which hijacked me when I least expected. It is almost impossible to be compassionate when triggered by subs! I love contributing to co-creating a healthy culture of compassion which includes “eco-awakening.”
One of the strengths of Plotkin’s work, like Marshall’s NVC is that it focuses on healthy mature adult behavior through practices for cultivating wholeness. Wholeness supports sustainable healing and integration because it gives the ego a healthy place to land. Click here for Similarities and Differences Between NVC and Wild Mind.
If intrigued by this opportunity, check out this website (www.wildconnectiondevelopment.org) to find out more about this wholistic approach to connection. If you are ready to participate, and have identified an Animas Valley offering you'd like to take, click here to apply for a scholarship.
Sincerely,
Jaime “James” Prieto, Jr.
